An innovative player in the world of insurance, OneLife is continuing its digital transformation programme. Having provided partners with a digital signature service for managing existing clients’ transactions, on 1 September OneLife extended the service to the onboarding process for new clients.

OneLife has developed an online system enabling partners and clients to benefit from completely digitised, more efficient and faster relationship processes, notably simplifying the completion of onboarding documents. The digital signature service offered to all users of the process represents the crowning element of a 100% digital relationship. Currently available in Belgium where OneLife is the market leader, the new service will be gradually rolled out across the group’s other key markets.

Aspects relating to the security, confidentiality and robustness of its digital processes have been fundamental in OneLife’s design and implementation decisions.

The Nowina Solutions EVA platform

The digital signature solution adopted by OneLife is based on the EVA platform of Nowina Solutions. The platform has already been deployed in several European countries and beyond.

It therefore offers the advantage of being international and contextual, exploiting the most pertinent signature methods in the light of the particular risks and the country. It does not require any deployment of hardware or any other process involving prior signatory registration. This feature was one of the main specifications of OneLife, which distributes its products in many European markets – each with its own particular demands.

As an eIDAS auditor and thanks to its strong operational knowledge of European regulations, Nowina also guarantees that the solution is fully compliant.

EVA is very easy to deploy as it adapts to OneLife’s specific requirements, while providing a reliable audit trail which tracks and reconstitutes the entire signature process.This integration project is a perfect fit with other projects of OneLife’s strategic digital transformation programme, designed to gradually provide paperless document exchange and business processes.  These challenges were successfully met thanks to the effective collaboration between the OneLife and Nowina project teams, supported by a flexible approach and the ability to adapt.

It also enables the use of more flexible authentication means such as SMS or soft tokens, via our OneApp mobile application.
