Luxembourg, 1 September 2026 - OneLife announces the appointment of Cédric Lootvoet as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company. He takes over from Bruno Valersteinas, who in October 2025 was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Groupe APICIL in charge of Savings & Financial Services activities.
This appointment completes the transition initiated since December 2025, a period during which Cédric Lootvoet has served as Deputy CEO of OneLife.
With the support of the Groupe APICIL, the Executive Committee and all the teams, Cédric Lootvoet will be responsible for continuing the development of OneLife in its European markets by putting clients and partners at the heart of strategic priorities.
Among these, actions will focus on:
- the deployment of innovative digital and investment solutions
- improving process efficiency within the organisation
- maintaining cutting-edge wealth expertise and a high quality of service
A career path developed within OneLife
With almost 25 years of experience, Cédric Lootvoet began his career in Belgium at CTIF-CFI, the public authority responsible for combating money laundering and terrorist financing, before joining Deloitte Luxembourg, where he became Senior Manager (Forensic & Enterprise Risk Services).
He joined OneLife in 2010 as Head of Compliance & Risk and member of the Executive Committee, and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2016. In 2023, he became one of the company's two directors approved by the Commissariat aux Assurances (CAA). His appointment as CEO is a natural progression of his career and commitment to OneLife.
“I am honoured to lead OneLife at a pivotal moment in its development. With the support of our teams and the Groupe APICIL, we will continue to implement our Focus and Grow strategy, more than ever putting our clients and partners at the heart of our priorities. Our ambition is to continue developing innovative wealth solutions, improving our operational efficiency, enhancing our quality of service, and strengthening our position in our European markets."
“I am delighted to see Cédric take the helm at OneLife. His background within the company, his in-depth knowledge of our activities and his expertise in the financial and regulatory issues of the sector are valuable assets for continuing the company’s development throughout Europe. I am convinced that he will successfully carry forward OneLife’s ambitions and fully contribute to the implementation of the group’s strategic plan in the coming years.”
