Personal data protection (GDPR)

What is the GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU Regulation 2016/679), in force since 25 May 2018, governs the collection and use of personal data within the European Union. Its objective is simple: to ensure lawful, transparent and secure processing of information enabling an individual to be identified.

Which data is concerned?

Personal data is any information that can identify you: your name, your email address, your telephone number, your financial data but also more sensitive data such as data related to your health and which benefits from enhanced protection. At OneLife, we only collect what is necessary to offer you our services.

How does OneLife protect your data?

Your data is precious. We only use it to:

  • manage your policies and associated services (for example to send you your documents)
  • comply with our legal and regulatory obligations (such as anti-money laundering)
  • improve your experience (for example by personalising our communications)

Your security is our priority: we apply strict security measures (encryption, limited access, etc.) and work with service providers and partners subject to confidentiality and GDPR compliance commitments.
